Thunderwolves move to 3-1, Conrad and Graham have strong outings
SUNY Niagara golf recorded two more wins through the second weekend of the season. The Thunderwolves won the Hudson Valley Invitational Friday in Delmar and the SUNY Adirondack Invitational Saturday in Queensbury.
SUNY Niagara is now 3-1 on the season, posting another strong start after winning its first four tournaments last season. The Thunderwolves return to action in the Jamestown Community College Invitational Friday in Chautauqua and then aim for their 10th consecutive win at the annual SUNY Niagara Invite Saturday at Willowbrook Golf Course in Lockport.
Hudson Valley Golf Invitational, April 17, 2026
SUNY Niagara won the event with a team score of 300, four scores ahead of host Hudson Valley (304). Onondaga Community College (315), SUNY Adirondack (326) and Jefferson Community College (329) rounded out the top five.
Named the NJCAA Region III Athlete of the Week in golf for the week of April 13, sophomore Finn Graham finished first overall with a score of two-under-par 68, five strokes ahead of the field. This marked the lowest score ever in Thunderwolves history and tied for the best single-round finish and the third time in Graham's career where he finished first.
Anthony Gagliardi shot a 76. Ryan Conrad shot a 77. Bode Daumen finished with a 79. Channing Brainard recorded an 87, Luke Kolbe had a 91 and Henry Genewick posted a 93.
SUNY Adirondack Invitational, April 18, 2026
SUNY Niagara won the event with a team score of 320, six scores ahead of Hudson Valley (326). Host SUNY Adirondack (329), Onondaga (330) and Jefferson (348) rounded out the top five.
Ryan Conrad tied with Adirondack's Mason McDougal for first overall at 6-over 78. Anthony Gagliardi finished second on the Thunderwolves with a score of 80. Bode Daumen and Finn Graham shot an 81 apiece. Channing Brainard recorded an 82 and Henry Genewick had an 88.
