NOTES:

For a second time in his last three games, Marshall scored over 30 points in a contest and has done so eight times in his career. His 33-point outing against Mohawk Valley followed his 40-point performance against Henry Ford College in the Thunderwolves Holiday Classic Saturday.

Marshall also tied his career-high of six 3-pointers, which he reached twice in both of SUNY Niagara’s contest against Monroe University on Jan. 11 and March 2, 2025 (NJCAA Region III Div. II championship). The Thunderwolves are 5-0 when Marshall hits at least five treys in a contest. This season, Marshall is averaging a team-high 23.4 points per game and has 863 points in 44 career games.

Humphrey became the second Thunderwolf to record six assists in a contest this season and joined Marshall, who did so against Garrett College on Nov. 8 and Schoolcraft on Dec. 14. In six appearances, Humphrey is second in scoring (16.5) and assists (2.5) per game.

With 11 rebounds, Hutchinson reached double-figure rebounding for the fourth time this season. The freshman had a season-high 12 against Genesee CC on Nov. 2. Hutchinson has posted a team-high 7.2 rebounds per contest and is fourth in scoring with 9.8 points per game plus two double-doubles.

With 13 against Mohawk Valley, SUNY Niagara is 8-2 when it records least 10 assists. Last season, the Thunderwolves were 22-3 when they had 10 or more.

SUNY Niagara continues to find success in its friendly confines in Sanborn. Over the last 10 seasons (2016-17), the Thunderwolves are 96-15 at home and have won at least 10 in each of the last four years.

SUNY Niagara (9-4) travels to Ohio for contests at Cuyahoga CC at 6 p.m. Friday and at Lorain CC at 3 p.m. Saturday. SUNY Niagara resumes its schedule at Mohawk Valley CC at Noon on Jan. 10.
