Thunderwolves fall to Buffalo State JV

SUNY Niagara men's club soccer lost to Buffalo State JV, 8-0, Monday in Sanborn. This was the Thunderwolves' first game action since a 4-2 win against Lorain on Sept. 15.

The Bengals built a 2-0 lead through the first 21 minutes of play and added one more goal with less than two minutes left in the first half for a 3-0 halftime score. Buffalo State then scored five goals in the second half, including two in the last 10 minutes.

The Thunderwolves recorded five total shots in the contest, with two on net. Ayham Blasiny had two of the shots, while Logan Kulak, Enzo Bufalino and Mark Koye tallied one each. 

Sophomore goalkeeper Quinn Walton recorded three saves in 55 minutes of game action before sophomore Landon Rees made four saves in the final 25 minutes. 

SUNY Niagara (2-2) hosts Roberts Wesleyan JV at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sanborn.
