Thunderwolves complete Ohio road trip with comeback win at Terra State Sunday
SUNY Niagara men's club soccer continued its winning ways with three second-half goals for a 4-3 come-from-behind win at Terra State Sunday in Fremont, Ohio. This marked the Thunderwolves' fourth win in their last five contests, dating back to a 2-1 win versus Roberts Wesleyan JV on Sept. 24.
Gianfranco Centeno scored three of SUNY Niagara's four goals, including the game-tying goal and the eventual game-winner, both unassisted, within the first 15 minutes of the second half. Centeno now leads the Thunderwolves with six goals this season. Nikolas Magaris scored the Thunderwolves' first goal out of halftime, cutting the deficit to 3-2.
Frank Tuyishime and Abedi Amisi recorded an assist each on Magaris' goal.
Goalkeeper Ben Chiodo recorded two saves for his first collegiate win.
SUNY Niagara (6-3) continues its season versus Erie at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Sanborn, followed by the women's contest at 4 p.m.
