Niagara County Community College split a windswept Region III doubleheader with visiting Jefferson Community College on Friday afternoon. The T-Wolves moved to 11-12 overall and 7-1 in regional play. N-Trip is next in action at 3 p.m. Thursday when it hosts Jamestown Community College.

Freshman Morgan Allis banged out a two-run triple and classmate Shelby Wolf added two RBIs, but Jefferson CC scored five runs in the sixth inning to get the win. Also for NCCC, freshmen Maggiemay Murrins and Sydney Sexton each went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored.

Freshman Cecelia Waters was 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs in the win. Wolf, meanwhile, added two doubles, an RBI and scored three runs. Murrins, the winning pitcher, was 3-for-4 with an RBI and scored twice.
