Thunderwolves fall to Erie CC in first contest in month
SUNY Niagara women's club soccer lost to rival Erie CC, 4-0, Wednesday in Sanborn. This was the program's first contest since a 2-0 loss to Lorrain on Sept. 14.
The Kats took a 1-0 lead in the eighth minute off an own goal by SUNY Niagara, the eventual halftime lead. Erie then scored three more goals in the last 21 minutes of regulation.
SUNY Niagara was outshot, 15-4. Savannah Horvath, Olivia Scott, Samantha Furan and Juliana Tiedemann had one shot apiece.
Mia Linde recorded 10 saves in the loss.
