Women's club soccer falls in season opener

After much anticipation, SUNY Niagara women's soccer began its 2025 campaign. 

Samantha Furan scored the Thunderwolves' first goal of the season during a 5-1 loss to Hudson Valley Community College Saturday in Sanborn. 

Furan connected off a pass from Olivia Mayer for the lone scoring play for the Thunderwolves. Goalkeeper Mia Linde recorded 15 saves in net.

SUNY Niagara (0-1) continues its season versus Lorain County Community College at 1 p.m. Monday in Sanborn.
