Thunderwolves fall to Lorain in Monday matinee

In its second contest in a 48-hour span, SUNY Niagara women’s club soccer lost to Lorain County, 2-0, Monday in Sanborn.

The Thunderwolves allowed goals in the 33^rd and 64^th minutes of play.

In the loss, Thunderwolves goalkeeper Mia Linde recorded 11 saves. Lorain County had 17 shots total, with 13 on net.

Savannah Horvath, Katrina Savage, Olivia Scott and Julianna Tediamann recorded one shot each for the Thunderwolves. SUNY Niagara finished with four shots, with three on net.

SUNY Niagara (0-2) returns to action versus SUNY Broome at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 27.
