Niagara County Community College threw a pair of shutouts in a Region III sweep of visiting SUNY Broome on Tuesday at Washuta Park. The nationally-ranked Thunderwolves improved to 19-7 overall and 4-2 in Western Division play.

Freshmen Austin Mann and Michael Ribis combined on a no-hitter with 12Ks for the T-Wolves. Sophomore Chris Tani and the freshman tandem of Andrew Fairbrother and Trent Wasserman each clubbed a home run in the win. Wasserman also scored three times and freshman Will Markott had two RBIs.

Freshman Will Jackman allowed just two hits and struck out seven in six innings of work. At the dish, Wasserman and classmate Carter Arbuthnot each ripped a home run and freshman Mitch Holtz finished 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.
